Mediatec geared up for Red Bull Speed Jam in Cardiff!

Mediatec were called upon to supply two 56 sqm truck mounted giant LED screens that were positioned on Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay. The screens captured the high-octane action throughout the event, thrilling the 1,500 strong crowd!
Mediatec boost the British Grand Prix at Silverstone July 2011!

Boasting the largest inventory in Europe, Mediatec had the ability to supply LED screens ranging from 15sqm to 88sqm in size, consisting of both mobile and modular systems. They were situated in optimum viewing positions around the track, including the integration of three new positions that saw screens suspended from the new Pit lane building. Their 14 strong team, were onsite throughout the event, including the week leading up to commencement.

Our dedicated Silverstone TV channel is broadcast around the site onto the giant screens supplied by Mediatec and is an important part of the weekend for our spectators”.
Mediatec bring the Royal Wedding to Downing Street!

The ninety guests invited by Mr Cameron and his wife Samantha, included children from local schools and representatives of Age UK, Contact the Elderly and Save the Children, well as young charity fundraisers.
Mediatec were honoured to provide Downing Street with a 15sqm truck mounted mobile LED screen that was situated outside No 12 Downing Street and displayed live coverage of the royal wedding throughout the afternoon.
The 81st International Geneva Motor Show March 2011.

Following the success of The Paris Motor show, Mediatec UK, in association with build contractor PUSH Studios PLC and design agency AMOS and AMOS who created the exhibition stand for Lotus, supplied, assembled and maintained 30sqm of 6mm LED modules that were arranged in four columns, each module a 4x11 configuration. Vista systems “Spyder” was used to scale each individual column, which allowed for the gaps between each screen. The content was designed specifically for the screen, to the exact resolution and took into account the gaps where no image could be seen.

Following last year’s success, Mediatec UK, in association with Media Sales specialists Media 7, supplied and networked two 30sqm Lighthouse 1650 LED screens. The first was flown in Hall 1 and the second, in Hall 2. Ticker tape at the bottom of the screens was utilised to display continuous industry insight and news updates.

Paris Motor Show 2010
Held at the Paris Expo in Porte de Versailles, Paris is one of the most significant auto shows of the year, frequently showcasing new production models and concept car debuts.
In association with build contractor PUSH Studios PLC and design agency AMOS and AMOS who created the exhibition stand for Lotus. Medaitec supplied, assembled and maintained 50sqm of Hibino Chromatek LVD638 Black Face modules that were arranged in four columns, each a 3x9 module configuration. Spyder was used to scale each individual column which allowed for gaps between each of the screens. The content was designed specifically for the screen to the exact resolution and took into account the gaps where no image could be seen.

Goodwood Revival 2010
The only event of its kind to be staged entirely in the 1940s, 50s and 60s, The Revival re-lives the golden era of motor racing at the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Having built a longstanding relationship with Goodwood, Mediatec UK were delighted to be part of such a prestigious event for the seventh consecutive year. Supplying a total of five truck-mounted mobile LED screens, ranging from 40 to70 sqm, the screens were positioned in prominent locations in the Mess Pavillions, Chicane, Lavant Corner and Lavant Straight.

Royal Opera House Summer Big Screen Live Relays
They are a magnificent opportunity for people to get together, bring a picnic and enjoy the finest ballet and opera in their home town, for free!
Mediatec UK have developed a long standing relationship with the Royal Opera House and were proud to be involved in the project for the sixth year running. The Mediatec team supplied screens to four locations. An 88 sqm truck mounted screen to Trafalgar Square. A 56sqm truck mounted screen to Aberdeen and Sunbury and a 35sqm Panasonic Astrovision modular screen to the newest location, Stratford Park in Newham.

Glorious Goodwood Horse Racing 2010
More than 100,000 people flock through the gates at Glorious Goodwood to enjoy the elegant and relaxed atmosphere. There are racing highlights every day - including the Sussex Stakes, the Goodwood Cup and the Blue Square Nassau Stakes.
Mediatec UK supplied Glorious Goodwood with a total of three truck mounted led screens for the fifth consecutive year. Two 56sqm screens, one situated at the Lennox Enclosure, the other at the start / finish line and a 40spm screen positioned at the Parade Ring.

Farnborough Air Show 2010
Held across five indoor exhibition halls, along with an outdoor aircraft static display, demonstration flights and a flying display on each day, FIA is a bi annual event, the first five days are trade only with doors opening to the general public at the weekend. In 2008, the Show attracted a staggering 153,000 visitors on the weekend alone.
Mediatec UK supplied three LED screens in total. Two flown 37sqm high contrast SMD Panasonic Astrovision 12F screens, along with a 56sqm truck mounted mobile screen. All screens we’re synchronised via a gigawave link that transmitted a mix of live coverage of the flying displays and pre recorded advertising. A team of Mediatec technicians were on site throughout to ensure the project ran smoothly.

NatWest Series: England V Australia 2010
The grounds, including The Rose Bowl in Hampshire, SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff, Old Trafford in Manchester, London’s Brit Oval and the esteemed ‘Home of cricket’, Lords were host to an action packed series that witnessed England beat Australia 3-2!
As part of their contract to supply the ECB with large outdoor LED screens for the next three years, Mediatec UK supplied a 45sqm Panasonic Astorvision modular screen to each one day match along with an additional 56sqm truck mounted mobile screen at the Rose Bowl.
ECB’s Venue Support Manager, Ben Green, said: “LED screens are an integral part of the cricketing experience for spectators up and down the country. As always, Mediatec proved their reliability and technical expertise to ensure the screens performed without a glitch.”
T in the Park 2010
Held annually since 1994, T in the Park returned again offering a vast variety of music for 85,000 fans across seven stages.
In association with commercial and visual solutions supplier Screen Activation, Mediatec UK delivered and supported five LED screens, consisting of four 20sqm modular screens on each side of stages one and two, along with a 56sqm truck mounted screen for replay purposes.
Director of Screen activation, David Llewellyn said: “Screen Activation was given the opportunity to supply screens, cameras and ancillary equipment for this year’s T in the Park Festival for the first time. We were conscious that the organisers were dedicated to reproducing what had been a successful formula in previous years. With that in mind, our first choice as supplier of screens was always going to be Mediatec UK. Their track record at the festival was exemplary and yet again the team did not disappoint either Screen Activation or the festival organisers. Conditions on site were difficult this year with adverse weather conditions and Mediatec UK coped with this in a way that minimised any disruption to the bands on stage, the festival organisers or the paying public. We were proved right to appoint Mediatec UK for this year and look forward to using them again.”

With over 176,000 visitors in three days, its new moving motor show lets potential buyers not only hop into the cars but test drive them too. The annual hill-climb event continues to be a devoted celebration of motor sport.
Mediatec UK provided seven truck-mounted LED screens ranging from 15sqm up to 69sqm, along with 110 plasma screens for the seventh consecutive year. A team of Mediatec technicians were on hand to supply continuous onsite technical support throughout the event.

Moto GP in Jerez, May 2010
On 1st & 2nd of May 2010, for the seventh year running, Mediatec supplied 10 LED screens. Seven mobile screens ranging from 40sqm to 88sqm and three modular screens, one Barco Olite and two Lighthouse 1650.

Mediatec enhance the winter games!
In partnership with Panasonic, Mediatec supplied 2 x 98sqm Panasonic Astrovision 22V screens to BC Place, a 60,000 seat covered stadium. 2 x 47sqm Panasonic Astrovision 12F screens to each side of the David Lam Park live site in downtown Vancouver and 1 x 75sqm Panasonic Astrovision 22V to the Whistler Olympic Park.

London's International Gaming Expo
In partnership with media sales company Media 7, Mediatec UK installed and networked three LED screens. The first, located in the main entrance of Earls Court 1 was a 15sqm 6mm Chromatek Screen. The second, flown between halls one and two, a 27sqm Lighthouse 1650 screen and the third, flown above the exit at the rear of Earls Court 2 was also a 27sqm Lighthouse 1650. Each screen showed the same images simultaneously, and was divided into two sections, the top section displaying adverts and the bottom section revealing breaking news from the IGE show organisers and exhibitors.

P3 Guld!
On Tuesday the 19th of January the gala was broadcast on radio and TV for the seventh successive year. The audience at Scandinavium and home in their living rooms enjoyed events through Mediatec screens (Mitrix and Spider F30) at the front of the stage and as a backdrop.
Nobel Peace Prize
Mediatec OB-6 covered all the action outside and inside the Grand Hotel, where 10 000 people with torches greeted Mr. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle on the balcony of the Nobel suite. We also covered the banquet held in the Mirror Hall in the hotel.
On behalf of the European Broadcasting Union, Mediatec build up a rights holder’s room at the SAS-hotel in downtown Oslo, receiving the international signal through a local media bank then distributing the signal to a number of editing suites and play out facilities. We also provided a stand-up position connected to the EBU-office. In addition, we provided several stand-up positions with uplink facilities outside Oslo City Hall where Barack Obama received his diploma and prize.
Our vehicle, with a 45 meter telescope mast and remote controlled camera, was positioned right at the heart of the action in Oslo city centre close to the Royal Palace.
